![]() Access to free music education is one of MEPAA's central goals. With instruction, instruments, and inspiration, we help develop a friendly and welcoming environment for youth of any gender, income level and background to participate in the music and arts community.
We have a roster of 20+ experienced musicians with performance and education backgrounds that provide mentorship and practical, hands-on teaching in a group setting. Our youth mentors, aged 15 to 18, work alongside our teachers to provide guidance and leadership, as well as build their own teaching and music skills. We host over 80 drop-in music workshops annually, as well as mobile workshops for youth organizations, schools, community centers, and special events.
